Traditional Victorian townhouses can make for fantastic work spaces with high ceilings, large rooms and traditional details adding to a quality environment. However, having been designed and built for domestic purposes, these buildings can fall foul of regulations when converting to offices. In 2013, Darkin Architects assisted DPA Law with their building regulations application for the conversion of their offices, ensuring suitable means of escape in the event of fire.
